Pakistan's Supreme stretched out investigation into the scandal Zardari memorandum of America

Approved by Pakistan's Supreme Court on Monday to extend the time frame set for the Judiciary Committee to investigate the circumstances of the scandal, secret memo, which was attributed to Pakistani President Asif Zardari that he is prepared for the United States requesting from Washington to support his intention to change the leadership of the army and intelligence services to include officers loyal to him and to the west, another two months to allow them to complete the investigation into the controversy over the alleged note.
Today I met a body of 9 members headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to consider the petitions of three different one from the judicial committee in charge of investigating the note and seek to extend the deadline for the completion of its work.
These formed the Judicial Committee on 30 December last year with a mandate to complete the investigation into the controversy on that note one month, the Committee was unable to complete its work due to the non-appearance of the American businessman Mansoor Ijaz, a key figure in raising the scandal, for it to be heard, the Commission submitted a request to the Supreme Court to extend the deadline granted to them.
It also allowed the court today to former Pakistani ambassador in Washington Husain Haqqani to travel abroad on a petition filed by lawyer Asma Jahangir entrusted to him paid by the sons of her client that the residents abroad, and that he should be allowed to visit him.
She said that "her client will appear before the court when telling him so," and, accordingly, the court allowed for Hussain Haqqani to travel abroad after he was banned from leaving the country on the orders of a former Supreme Court.
The scandal (Memo Gate) last month, a major cause of tension between the civilian government. And the powerful military establishment in Pakistan after attributed to Pakistani President Asif Zardari that he is prepared, it was said that Ambassador Haqqani and Mansoor Ijaz played a mediating role between the U.S. Administration, Zardari .. The scandal led to the dismissal of Ambassador Haqqani, under pressure from the Pakistani military leadership.
