Ileana

Ileana
If Nanban has everything similar to Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots then there is reason for the passionate smooch scene between Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor to be replicated. And Nanban does not disappoint.

The film is getting rave reviews for the story but the surprise is Vijay and Ileana D'Cruz's passionate lip lock.

The promos of the film had never dropped a slightest hint of the hot scene.

Kissing is very common in Bollywood and especially if it is an Aamir Khan movie but was little expected of Vijay.

The only difference is in the number of such scenes between the two movies. While 3 Idiots had three scenes featuring Kareena and Aamir, Nanban has only one.

But the only smooch scene in Nanban lasts for at least 50 seconds making it quite long to sizzle the screen.

The only other time Vijay has kissed on-screen was for Khushi which had Jyothika in the lead.

According to reports, the film which also has Jeeva and Srikanth in pivotal roles, is doing good business down south.

Isha Sharvani

Isha Sharvani
A year and a half after rumours of their wedding plans surfaced, there's a fresh round of speculations about cricketer Zaheer Khan and Isha Sharvani finally tying the knot this year.

"Zaheer Khan and Isha Sharvani have decided to tie the knot at the end of March. The wedding is just
two-and-a-half months away," disclosed a close friend of the couple to Mumbai Mirror.

The families of the lovebirds are busy chalking out plan for their nuptial.

"Recently, their families met and finalised the wedding details. A final decision will be taken when Zaheer returns from the ongoing Australian tour. If they don't marry in March, they will do so in October. But they are keen on March," the source was quoted as saying by the tabloid.

Ups and downs of their love story

Up: Isha and Zaheer first met at a function in 2005 when the Australian cricket team was leaving India and Isha was performing at the event. The duo kept meeting after that at parties and eventually became a couple.

Down: They called it quits in 2007 and didn't stay in touch. They were not linked to anyone else in the interim.

Up: The couple got back together in 2010.

"All their friction is a thing of the past. Every couple has their share of ups and downs and this one is no exception. Anyway, its wedding bells for them in March," the friend told the tabloid.

We wish the duo a very happy married life!

Biel dazzles

Biel dazzles
Jessica Biel looks dazzling at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards (Golden Globes 2012) held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
But where is that engagement ring?
Her on again off again boyfriend Justin Timberlake is said to have proposed to the actress last month during a pre-Christmas break in Jackson, Wyoming, after they recently reunited following a three-month split.
One note from an earlier report - she is in no hurry.
Although she has accepted his proposal, 'New Year's Eve' star Jessica recently admitted she is in no hurry to walk down the aisle.
She said: "I was never one of those girls who dreamt of my wedding and my Prince Charming. To p**s off my mom, I used to say, 'I'm never having kids, and I'm going to be a fabulously rich old maid living in a house with cute butlers and dogs.' "
How did she look at the 2012 Golden Globes?

Meryl Streep

Meryl Streep
Last night's seven-second delay censors were no doubt poised to bleep out any banned words uttered by Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais. They were, however, probably surprised to find that iconic actress Meryl Streep actually needed the most censoring of the night.
While accepting the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in "The Iron Lady," Streep realized upon ascending the stage that she had forgotten her reading glasses.
"Oh (bleep) my glasses, I forgot my glasses" she said, prompting a several seconds long silence in the broadcast as the actress' lips continued to move. Apparently, Streep accidentally repeated the curse word.
"OK, I'm gonna have to remember my speech," she said, her voice once again audible. She then launched into a litany of thank-yous, culminating her speech saying, "I'd like to thank my agent, Kevin Huvane, and god, Harvey Weinstein. The punisher. Old Testament, I guess.'"
Backstage, Streep seemed stunned that she had lobbed two s-bombs on network television.
"I said [it] and I don’t normally — well, I do normally say that, but I don’t say it on TV," she explained to "Access Hollywood." "I had everybody’s name that I wanted to mention and so as a result, I forgot. I’m apoplectic, but what are you gonna do? I'll have to now email everybody and that’s just gonna take days."

Zooey Deschanel

Zooey Deschanel
Zooey Deschanel appeared to have chopped off several inches of her brunette hair when she worked the red carpet at the 2012 Golden Globes in Beverly Hills Sunday night. But besides sporting a fresh, new cut, there was another attribute of her hairstyle that we couldn't stop staring at: her serious sideburns!

Either a result of her glossy blowout or a hair stylist who got scissor happy, the New Girl star's face was framed by short pieces of hair that channeled the wispy look most commonly seen on men.
But sideburns weren't the only male-inspired look the actress, 31, sported during the evening.
Despite the fact that she was decked out in a black and green silk Prada gown, she managed to rock a tux at the same time with tuxedo nail art. While most stars usually opt for neutrals beige, ivory or pale pink polish, Deschanel showed her truly quirky and "adorkable" style with the menswear-inspired manicure.
Deschanel, who filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Death Can for Cutie's Ben Gibbard on December 27, walked the Beverly Hilton red carpet with her sister, Emily Deschanel.

Kate Beckinsale

Kate Beckinsale
Kate Beckinsale was worried she wouldn't fit into her catsuit for 'Underworld: Awakening' because she ate so much while filming in New Orleans.
The British actress was overwhelmed with the choice of delicious foods while shooting 'Contraband' in the Louisiana city but admitted it led to some anxiety about getting back in shape for the skin tight costumes she wears in the latest 'Underworld' installment.
She explained to Ontheredcarpet.com: "The whole time I was preparing for 'Underworld,' I was actually shooting 'Contraband,' so New Orleans is a wonderful city, but it's not the most fantastic place to get in shape because we want to go try those beignets and all those wonderful things.
"It's got the worst kind of 'Underworld' suit food, really. So it was a miracle. I guess having had a lot of training for the first one, thank goodness, it wasn't quite as extensive as that but there were still a lot of complicated fight scenes to learn and stunts I hadn't done before and just the sheer terror of getting back into that suit, which is a bit like a put your bikini on and stand in Times Square kind of feeling."
However, Kate showed that she has regained her sexy slim figure as she stepped out in a stunning strapless Roberto Cavalli gown with sequin embellishments at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles last night (15.01.12) and it appears her New Years' resolution to be healthier is paying off.
She explained: "I walk around holding a bottle of water a lot and my resolution this year is to actually drink it. I think I've drunk it just because I'm carrying it from the car to the house and back out again, I've just got to drink more water, I think."

Golden Globe Winners

Golden Globe Winners
On the movie side of the Golden Globe Awards spectrum, Sunday night’s winners were not terribly surprising.
“The Descendants”? Sort of figured that would win best drama. “The Artist”? A shoo-in, even without all the cute, poochy showmanship from Uggie the dog.
But the evening of film-and-television-show adulation that was Golden Globes 2012 did give us a a few semi-shockers. These were the five biggest. Vote in the poll below for the one you found most unexpected.
With William Hurt and “Downton Abbey’s” Hugh Bonneville in the same category, the actor formerly known as Stringer Bell didn’t seem like a sure thing. But he managed to win, bringing him to the stage where he could accept his Globe and make female viewers swoon, just as nature intended.
Meryl Streep as best actress
Okay, accolades for Streep don’t exactly qualify as a massive shock. But when Viola Davis, who won the Critics’ Choice Award in the same category last week, is considered the front-runner, this counts as a surprise.
Kelsey Grammer as best actor in a drama
Again, Grammer’s talents are well known. But Bryan Cranston and Steve Buscemi, who star on the more buzzy “Breaking Bad” and “Boardwalk Empire,” respectively, seemed like more likely winners.
Matt LeBlanc as best actor in a comedy
As previously noted in this blog, this was a definite surprise since LeBlanc, a previous Globe nominee, had never won and his show, “Episodes,” isn’t as high-profile as Alec Baldwin’s “30 Rock” or Johnny Galecki’s “The Big Bang Theory.”
Martin Scorsese as best director
Given the aforementioned expectation that both “The Artist” and “The Descendants” would win in the best picture categories, it seemed logical to assume Michel Hazanavicius or Alexander Payne would take the corresponding best director prize. But it was Scorsese, who directed “Hugo,” last year’s non-silent homage to the early days of filmmaking, who emerged victorious.
